DEACTIVATED BY UBER?
DON’T GUESS YOUR NEXT MOVE.

Lost access to your Uber Driver account? Whether you have been temporarily suspended or permanently deactivated, understand the review process and how to get independent advice.

Time-sensitive: Uber currently states that drivers deactivated for safety, risk or fraud issues generally have four months to request a review. Other legal deadlines may be shorter. Check your own notification and seek independent advice promptly.

What should you do first?

  1. Save your deactivation email, in-app messages and the exact date you lost access.
  2. Check whether the problem is an expired document, ID verification, a safety report or another issue.
  3. Use the official Uber Driver app review route where available. Keep screenshots and copies of your responses.
  4. Record any lost work, earnings and relevant communications without sharing passengers' personal information.
  5. If you think the decision was unfair, speak to an appropriately qualified adviser about your particular circumstances.
